A lonely old cement silo stands west of town on Hwy 120. It's across the highway from the Meyer Material gravel pit, and next to the Ostend cemetery. The shoulder of the road is wide enough for safe parking.
The roof and chute are still intact, there are some of the metal reinforcing rings on the lower portion of the silo.
