Matejovické jeskyne se nacházejí v bruntálském okrese, u Matejovic v Osoblažském výbežku (1,4 km od stredu Matejovic).
Jeskyne, ležící na pravém brehu potoka Hrozová nad dvojcí obecních rybníku. Matejovické jeskyne jsou pseudokrasovými jeskynemi. Tvorí ji nekolik ruzne širokých a vysokých chodeb castecne vyplnených kamenín. Prístupná délka chodeb je asi 30 metru. Nejlépe se k jeskyni dostanete od cesty z Matejovic do Rusína.

Matejovická cave is located near village Matejovice in the hook Osoblažsko (1.4km from center of Matejovice, 9km from town Osoblaha). Caves located on the right waterside of the creek Hrozová near twin ponds. Cave consists of several different high and wide corridors partially filled with stones. Accessible length of the corridors is about 30 meters. The best access route is a field path turning from the road between villages Matejovice and Rusín (waypoint PA - PATH). Matejovická cave belongs to the group pseudokarst caves. This type of cave formed by shifting blocks of sandstone during the glacial and interglacial periods. Landslide breakaway layers created cavities and caves. In this case the cave is formed in the cretaceous limestone-sandstone. Underground corridors in the cave are long 11 and 23 meters and its height is around 4 meters. The depth of the cave is 20 meters. Matejovická cave is also called the Cave of Venus or the Phoenix. The original cave entrance is overwhelmed and the current entrance is artificially tunnel.
