Benjamin Franklin, one of America's founding fathers was a politician, dipomat, scientist, writer and publisher.
Here he is celebrated in his role as a printer.
The statue depicts Franklin standing with arms outstretched- as if speaking to an audience or about to greet someone.
The inscription on the base reads:
