This bicycle tender is located on the west side of Pelican Bay, just north of the entrance. Pelican Bay is Edmond's only water park, a facility that used to be the city's Olympic size swimming pool. This is a very popular place in the summer when the Oklahoma temperatures can reach over 100.
During the summer months you will not be able to find a parking spot at Pelican Bay, but there is additional parking at Hafer Park, easily accessed by a pedestrian bridge between the two places and just west of the bicycle racks.
Many kids ride their bikes to Pelican Bay, so this is a great place for the tenders.
