This lighthouse has been here ever since the marina was established in the 50s but is so small as to not even have a website like the neighboring Long Level Marina which is without lighthouse. This lighthouse is unmanned, operates on a automated system with a revolving light. The light is about 35 feet high and has always worked since I've been coming here. There is a parking lot right next to it so you can walk right up to it. The light helps keep the navigable waters of the Susquehanna safe between the Lancaster and York counties. The lights looks rather new indicating it was recently painted
