Rose Lawn Cemetery is located one-half mile east of Highway 77 on Mulhall Road (CR 660). This is a large cemetery with approximately 1500 burials.

May 3, 1999 was a devastating night for central Oklahoma. An F-5 plus tornado roared through the town of Moore, south of Oklahoma City, leveling large sections of town. Another large tornado ripped through the town of Mulhall, and took out all the beautiful old trees in the Rose Lawn Cemetery, and damaged numerous headstones. Eagle Scout Casy Cundiff from Troop 111, Baden Powell District in Oklahoma City, became aware of the cemetery damage as he helped his grandparents clean up from the damage they received in Mulhall. In December 1999, Casy approached the town of Mulhall with his planned project to re-plant the cemetery.

But tragedy struck 15 yr. old Casy as he was diagnosed with cancer a few weeks before the project was to start. December and January were filled with surgeries and chemotherapy for young Casy. Nevertheless, on April 2, 2000, with assistance from other Scouts, as well as 50 local residents, and with the donation of 50 Bradford Pear trees from Valley Tree Farm in Oklahoma City, Rose Lawn was re-planted and again shows off its beauty.

Casy's Project was a beautiful success. His battle with cancer, however, could not be overcome. He passed away on May 29, 2001 - leaving behind a lasting legacy of beauty and grateful thanks from the community of Mulhall.
