This is very likely the world's largest and heaviest stone teapot which isn't set up as a building (there is a bigger one in China but it's actually a museum building). It's in Anxi County in Fujian Province, China. The teapot is made of 200 blocks of granite and is 8 metres in diameter and 8 metres high. It weighs 600 tons.
Pot handles and spout are more than 2 meters long. Alongside the pot are 5 huge cups with a diameter of 2 meters and 1.2 meters high.
The large pot was sculpted by the Huian Haiqi stone factory by more than 10 craftsmen. The work started in April 10 2005, completion was by the end of September of the same year.
The pot is engraved with the text "This Anxi treasure will last forever" in Chinese characters. The five big cups were each inscribed with a poem about Chinese tea.
