Founded in 1927, this Church has served the faithful for over 80 years in the eastern U.P. The present building was erected in 1932, and features the classic twin towers. While the Church is of Greek origin, as of 2011 services are provided by Fr. Christopher Mantle, who also serves at St. Mary the Protectress Ukrainian Orthodox Church in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario (Canada).
