58 foot tall steel tower erected and first lighted in 1909. Works in conjunction with the Munising Rear Range Light which is set on a hill behind the front light. Not open to visitors, but is on National Park Service land so can be seen close up. Lightkeepers residence is located nearby, is in good shape, and is used by the Park Service.
