This is a popular town pub. The White Swan is a black and white Georgian three storey beamed building that has recently undergone refurbishment. CAMRA listed, it offers a wide range of home cooked food and is a great option for sports fans with many of the big matches being shown. It is now run as a joint pub with Ye Olde Vaults, another Market Place pub, this is the lounge to the Vaults being the public. After a 15 month closure it's been upgraded and is now much smarter inside, lighter and brighter, CAMRA listed and selling a range of Marston's beers. The interior doesn't match the old-style exterior at all which is a shame.
