Der Lech ist ein rechter Nebenfluss der Donau in Österreich und Deutschland. Der 264 km lange Fluss entspringt in Vorarlberg und fließt durch Tirol und Südbayern, wo er in die Donau mündet.
Die Donau ist mit einer Gesamtlänge von 2857 Kilometern nach der Wolga der zweitgrößte und zweitlängste Strom in Europa. Der Quelltopf des Donaubachs in der Nähe der Vereinigung der beiden Quellflüsse wird oft ebenfalls als Donauquelle bezeichnet. Die ab hier noch gut 2810 Kilometer lange Donau durchquert drei große Beckenlandschaften; das nördliche Alpenvorland und das Wiener Becken (Oberlauf), die pannonische Tiefebene (Mittellauf) und das Rumänische Tiefland (Unterlauf). Die Donau mündet in einem ausgedehnten Delta in das Schwarze Meer.
Die Koordinaten wurden in der Mitte des Zusammenflusses aufgenommen. Vom Parkplatz aus geht man 1,5 km zu diesem Punkt.

The Lech is a right tributary of the Danube. The 164 miles long river rises in Tyrol and Vorarlberg, and flows through southern Bavaria, where it confluences with the Danube.
The Danube with a total length of 1775 miles is the second largest and second longest river in Europe. The Danube flows through a wide delta into the Black Sea.
The coordinates were taken in the middle of the confluence. From the parking place you have to go 0,9 miles to reach this point.
