The sign describes the Sunlight Park Stadium that was open from 1886-1896. The stadium held 2,250 total and admission cost 25 cents. Originally simply the Toronto Baseball Grounds or "Baseball Place" it became the Sunlight Park after a Sunlight Soap Factory was built nearby. The sign also describes Toronto's first baseball title and the current state of the grounds today.

Sign built by Heritage Toronto, 1999.

Note: There is still a park named after Sunlight Park Stadium as well as a street named after it.

The sign is located on the ICA Associates Building.
