Main plaque inscription: "In Grateful Tribute to the men and women of Burford Township who made the Supreme Sacrifice in the Defence of their Country. - "at the going down of the sun and in the morning we shall remember them""

Dedicated: June 11, 1967 (Note that this is a Canadian Centennial Monument)
Below is another plaque with a different inscription:
"In Memoriam of R 115215 Flt. Sgt. W. D. Pagan 412 Squadron R.C.A.F. Age 19 Died in his country's service November 25, 1942"
Dedicated: June 11, 1967 by his father WM. Pagan
Notes: Based in Kenley, Flt. Sgt. W.D. Pagan was killed by flak while in his Spitfire.
A cairn-style monument, it is also notable for it's use of cube statues, flower pots, lighting and flag. It is located next to the Burford Fairgrounds.
