On two stamps of the serie of airmail stamps emitted by Vatican Post on October 27, 1959, is depicted famous obelisk located in the centre of Piayya del Popolo in Roma. Grey stamp has denomination 25 lires and the brown one has denomination 200 lires. Behind the silhouette of the Popolo obelisk (also called as obelisk Flaminio) are depicted parts of the "twin" churches on the square - Santa Maria in Montesanto and Santa Maria dei Miracoli.
