This Lighthouse may be small, but it serves to show the mouth of Oak Orchard Creek into Lake Ontario.
The first lighthouse here was built in 1871 on the West side of Oak Orchard Creek. It was destroyed in a storm in 1916. The structure that is there now is a replica of the original, but now on the East side of the creek.
