This Wat has embraced the tourist ethic by presenting for sale local handicrafts to the few tourists who make it this far north from Phnom Penh. On the Wat grounds is a small shop filled with rather skilfully constructed local goods. The remainder of the Wat follows the usual design, quarters for the monks, prayer buildings and a few statues in the Wat grounds. The Wat does look a little better presented than most others in the region.
The Wat is situated a few kilometres outside the town, to the north. Easily reached on the main road. When I visited the Wat was near deserted. Several locals had to come by to open the shop doors. Not many local folk nor tourists, at the present time.
