"P. Seth Magosky: 1967 - 2007
Writer, broker was expert on Joliet buildings
March 22, 2007|By Joan Giangrasse Kates.
Through his work as a real estate broker, newspaper columnist and local cable TV host, P. Seth Magosky had become a walking compendium of historical data on hundreds of buildings in Joliet.
"He loved everything about Joliet--the people, the neighborhoods and all its history," said his brother, Cean. "He was passionate about the city and he knew it inside and out."
The City of Joliet website (
visit link) adds this about the Festival which apparently occurs annually in December:
"Live shows tell of Gnome lore, while the lobby fills with "gnomemade" treasures. Get your Gnome cap here! Tickets $5."
