This memorial features a life-size fire fighter in quiet reflection. He is holding his helmet and a fire hose rest on a rock that the firefighter has one foot upon. He is standing on a pedestal that is adjacent to the main stone flanked by brick 'wings'. At the end of the other 'wing' is a flag pole with the American Flag. The main stone has the names of Denver's Fire Fighters who have given all for the safety of others since 1881. There is a second stone to the right with more names. The emblem of the Denver Fire Department is above the main stone. The memorial is illuminated at night.
