The Pan Fountain was restored in 2009. The fountain with the sculpture of Pan was originally placed in 1938 as a tribute by teachers and school children in honor of Charles H. Dorris, who had served as superintendent of the Collinsville schools from 1900 to 1937. The sculpture is by sculptor Carl Mose.
