Upon entering the museum and taking the elevator to the second floor and looking through the window. Looking back at you will be the fearsome head of a two storey high statue of Tyrannosaurus Rex. Then take the ramp down and view this giant prehistoric beast from ground level. He is huge.

This half size replica is on permanent display and dominates Dinosaur Hall. The fiberglass statue has realistic eyes and teeth with skin rendered it what the artist believed were realistic colors. It is clearly the most popular exhibit at the museum.
