I just read the Book "A Walk In the Woods" by Bill Bryson Very Funny Exploits of A.T. hiking! I also do day Hikes on parts of A.T.!
So I had to get the AT signs that cross highways in my county of Schuylkill,Pa.(Rocksylvania) Caution:This part has large Rattlesnakes!
This part of the A.T. Crosses a major highway on top of a sometimes foggy Mtn. top an people don't really know it's there and are doing 60mph! It's also a blind spot! Across Street on West side of St.Rt. 309 is a Restaurant! The Elevation is 1,230ft above SL.
Veiw looking south is awesome!
Nearest town is Snyders at junction of 309 & 895 North of trail about 4 miles???? maybe less. Theres a gas station, mini mart,beer dealer,bank,atm,phone..?
