The City of Edmond has set up two WiFi Hotspots in the downtown area, with more to come.

The Edmond Urban Development Board decided to move forward to provide free WiFi availability in the downtown area. The first two locations chosen were the Farmers Market and atop a city building on First Street. The routers were installed in July 2011 and are now available to the public.
The Farmers Market is an open-air pavilion which is 63 ft. by 142 ft. Located behind the Edmond Sun building on the northwest corner of 2nd Street and Broadway, this area is used in many ways. The pavilion has water, electric, ceiling fans and public restrooms and is available for rent on a half-day or full-day basis.
A Farmers Market for sale of fresh produce and flowers, bedding plants, trees, herbs and yard & garden decorations, as well as fresh baked breads, pies & pastries, eggs, honey and Made in Oklahoma (MIO) products, is conducted on the following schedule:
Starting Saturday, mid-April, May and October - 9am-1pm
June 1 - September 24 - 8am-1pm on Saturday and Wednesday
