Long Description:
Robinson State Park serves as a major day use area for the Springfield region. It is located in the Feeding Hills section of Agawam. The land for the park was donated by John C. Robinson in 1934 and developed by the Civilian Conservation Corps.

The park is over 800 acres with the Westfield River as its northern boundary. A paved road runs parallel to the river in the western two thirds of the park. The park features a beach, swimming pond, pavilion, open playing fields and picnic facilities. There is also a launch area for canoeing and kayaking which requires a short portage from the parking lot. The park has about 20 miles of trails for use by hikers, mountain bicycles, and horses. Motorized vehicles are not allowed.
