Long Description:
Blakeburn was a coal mining town, high on Lodestone Mountain in the interior of BC. At one time it supported a pipe band, a hockey team, and a 3 room school. It is now mostly forgotten and slipping back into the earth. A concerned group of local citizens is attempting to have it designated as a historic site.
