Spring Lake School stands on a hill overlooking Spring Lake, a popular picnic and fishing spot in the town of Spring Lake, Utah.
The building was constructed in 1923, according to the stone above the main entrance. The old school has been boarded up for many years. No signs or markers are visible from the street, and the property is fenced with no public access.
Why has this old school stood empty for so many years???
It is said that if you stand at the steps leading to the school you can hear children laughing from time to time. You may also see the ghost of an old maintenance worker busying himself around the school.
We watched and listened… we neither saw nor heard anything…

Since the property is fenced, no public access to the building is available. You can stand on the sidewalk next to the steps leading to the old school, that's about it...
