[EN] The style of this vast building is inevitably reminiscent of the Flemish houses with triangular gables. The architect Emile Dubuisson was also inspired by the architecture typical of Lille in designing the city hall.
The great hall, punctuated by two rows of pillars with floral patterns, measures more than 107 metres in length.
As for the belfry, it dominates Lille and its surroundings at a height of 104 metres. The city hall and its belfry are classified as Unesco World Heritage site.
