Marian Column was built between 1716 - 1719 by sculptural's masters Matej and Frantisek Tollinger and Antonin Falke.
The column was reconstructed in 1920 - 1921. At the top of the column is a statue of the Immaculate Virgin Mary.
The column was built to commemorate the plague that struck Velvary 1713.
