"York Nebraska Water tower" Waymark

Long Description:
The Water tower at York Nebraska, painted to resemble a hot air balloon, is located just north of I-80. It's visible for several miles in either direction as you approach exit 353. The tower has become a well known landmark and is often used as a logo or symbol for the city of York.

York's Kilgore Library has developed a website which gives more information about the tower and other artistic water towers. Link
