The Simsbury Center Cemetery is located in the middle of the historic distict. The cemetery dates to 1688 with many graves markers from the 1700's and 1800's. The front gates were added in 1922. The cemetery is the final resting place for several Revolutionary War veterans. The cemetery is an active cemetery with a few thousand graves.
