The Amity First Baptist church, located at 205 6th Street, in Amity, Oregon has been a part of this community for 150 years. The church here was already an established part of the community when this photo was taken in 1910. The original photo was taken from near the railroad tracks over 6th Street looking west. The roof-line of the home to the side of the church remains unchanged but the surrounding area now is entirely residential with the exception of the Amity Co-Op that sits across the street just out of the photos view. Additionally, a large tree and telephone pole now clutter the view of the church from the original photo perspective.
