Spanning the Winooski River, allows access from Capitol District to Route 2 and I-89.

The plaque indicates the the year 1929 and identifies Berlin Construction Company of Berlin, Connecticut. Another plaque (undated) identifies Gordon & Sutton Contractors of North Adams, Massachusetts. It is unclear exactly what roles these two companies played: possibly one manufactured the bridge components, the other erected it.

From the date, I am guessing this bridge was built to replace one destroyed in the 1927 flood.
