The Brown's Funeral Parlor & Undertaking establishment is located in a two-story building at the north end of the main street. The north stone wall has been painted gray to match the facade which has been covered with slatted wood paneling and rises above the roof line. With white wood trim, the effect is a very stately building.
The ground floor has two wood and glass entrances, each flanked by a set of fixed windows. White wood trim around the doors and windows adds a decorative charm. Above these entrances is a wood canopy, supported by painted pipe. The upstairs has six single windows with fixed panes.
Sandra Brown is the owner of this family business which offers a full range of services to the local community. A local resident indicated that the building used to be occupied by Morgan & Hayes, a store which sold furniture and appliances, and gifts.
