We started camping at Diamond the summer of 2001, when the campground was officially opened. We haven't missed a summer camping trip to this spot since. Loop A is very wooded and shady on hot summer days. Our favorite spot is #5.
The Campground is at 5200 ft. elevation. It has 38 single campsites, and 22 double sites that can accomodate 16-20 people each. Fine fishing in the Spanish Fork River for rainbow and brown trout is available. Scenic waterfalls can be found along the river. Several hiking trails are nearby.
Diamond Campground is located 18.5 miles East, off Hwy 6, from Spanish Fork, Utah.
