Alice T. Miner was a pioneer in the colonial revival movement and wife of William H. Miner, a wealthy railroad industrialist. She opened her museum in 1924 to illustrate to local children what life was like in the 18th Century.
Three floors of 17th - 19th Century decorative arts, Japanese prints, Native American Artifacts from California, Eastern States, and the Southwestern US, textiles, prints and paintings. Authentic period furnishings, fixtures, domestic accessories.
