Within Lt. Frank McManus Memorial Park, is this monument that honors the victims of 9/11 who were employees of the Port Authority. The monument is a large stone with a bronze plaque attached, in a memorial grove of trees. Every year on the anniversary of the attack, a candlelight memorial ceremony is held. 84 Port Authority personnel perished that day, 37 of whom were police officers.
