The eighteenth highest peak in the Adirondacks Panther is the second highest summit in the Santanoni Mountains and is the easiest to climb.

You are probably coming from Times Square after visiting Santanoni and Couchsachgara. You really do not want to miss Panther, which offers the nicest view of all the mountains around.
There is a great rocky relaxing spot a little feet from the top where you can enjoy the view.
Don't miss the benchmark as well, very close to the summit sign.
From Times Square, it is about 1/4 mi. on the trail.
