The First Church in Windsor was founded in 1630. The current building was built in 1794 in a Federal style. In 1844 it underwent a major Greek Revival alteration with a columned portico and tower replacing the tower with its tall steeple. Federal features remain on the side elevations including quoins and keyblocks over the windows. The building is well maintained and continues to serve its congregation.
