This survey marker is rhe embedded in the south end of the eastern breakwall of the Irondequoit Bay outlet. There are four markers in the immediate vicinity: USE 20, 22, 23 and 24, but this last does not appear in the benchmark database. To access this marker from November to April, you can approach from Lake Road in either direction. From April to November, however, a swing bridge is open 24 hours a day to allow boat traffic in and out of Irondequoit Bay; access is only available via Lake Road from the east (Webster). There is a small parking lot southeast of the marker (east northeast of the swing bridge.
