Denver is fortunate to have many high quality cultural facilities for all to enjoy. Many of these locations have been Waymarked separately for their inclusion on the Waymarking site.
The Denver Art Museum (DAM) (
visit link) is an ever growing complex of facilities that bring the many varied scope of artwork to the public. The original Ponti 'Castle' was joined by the Hamilton Art Museum in 2006. The Kirkland building is currently (as of 2011) under construction.
The Denver Center for the Performing Arts (DCPA) (
visit link) provides locations for theater, opera and other live performances.
Red Rocks Amphitheatre (
visit link) is world renowned for both its beauty and acoustics. There is a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and Colorado Visitors center on the grounds as well as hiking trails. When the amphitheatre is not being used, you can stand on the same stage as have world famous artists.
