Porto Dinheiro wastewater facilities was built by Águas do Oeste and was concluded in 2004.
It was designed to serve a population of 3.000 inhabitants with a flow of wastewaters of 647 m3/day without human intervention.
Aguas do Oeste is a company formed to serve the Municipalities of the Oeste region (West) and it´s shareholders are: Aguas de Portugal, The Oeste municipalities association and the cities of Alcobaça, Alenquer, Arruda dos Vinhos, Azambuja, Bombarral, Cadaval, Caldas da Rainha, Lourinhã, Nazaré, Óbidos, Peniche, Rio Maior, Sobral de Monte Agraço and Torres Vedras.
