Hosted by Coastal Carolina University, the webcam is pointed at the mouth of the Singleton Swash as it enters the Atlantic Ocean. Webcam itself is located on the Sands Beach Club. Says the image is captured every ten minutes, but appears to be on roughly 45 minute retain during daylight hours now 7AM-7PM.
Coordinates are for the center of the viewing area where tourist try to catch crabs and small fish or are shell collectors during low tide. At high tide, the area is submerged, thus line fishing (actually further into the swash) is popular.
