Memorial consisting of two granite stones, etched with the names of locals who were lost and a depiction of the NYC Skyline with the World Trade Center Towers. The memorial is located in Mill Pond Park which is a Nassau County park located along Merrick Road in Bellmore, NY. There are also several stones set in the ground honoring the project's sponsors.
The monument is the 2003 Eagle Scout project of Vincent Congello of Troop 285 in Bellmore.
