The Sophia Sweetland House is a transitional Greek Revival and Italianate style dwelling built in the mid-nineteenth century.  The 2½ story home is constructed of brick with gable ends.  The house was built in about 1848  by Isaac Sweetland.  Isaac was a farmer and lived here with Sophia Sweetland. - information from National Register Nomination.
