The fountain honors over 60 individuals who helped Jews during the Nazi era. The plaque states:
"This fountain serves as an enduring tribute to the precious few who risked their lives to save Jews during the Holocaust. Known as the "Righteous Among the Nations," these valiant rescuers are remembered here for their extraordinary courage. Given by Michael and Jacqueline Ferro"
Two of the more recognizable inscribed names are Oskar Schindler and Raoul Wallenberg.
A visit to the Museum and fountain is a very moving experience.
