The library is a large brick building that has the inscription Dexter Memorial Hall. It has 3 arches in the front that leads to a portico which contains the entranceway. There is gold topped cupola.
Dexter Memorial Hall is a beautiful building situated on Main St. directly across from the Town Common. Dexter Memorial Hall has housed the public library since 1904. In 1998, town offices were moved
across the street to the old high school building and a town meeting
vote transferred custody of Dexter Memorial Hall to the Board of Library Trustees.
