At 130 Pink St., attractively set among elms, is the Captain Nathaniel Hayden House (1763), a large gambrel-roofed dwelling with end chimneys and string courses. A smaller, squat brick gambrel-roofed office beside it is almost a replica. - Connecticut: A Guide to Its Roads, Lore and People, Tour 8, pg. 527.
The house is pretty much as described except that its address is now known as 128 Hayden Station Road. The house is very good condition and continues serve as a single family home. The house and the nearby home referred to as an office are individually listed on the National Register of Historic Places
