After the demolition, the land was parceled out and constructed under a tight pattern.
The present Paul de Smet de Naeyerplein was reserved for the construction of villas.
Given its size, the area soon called the Million Quarter.
The grassy square is surrounded by trees, a ring and villas in various styles.
On the square - the center of a pond - still the bronze sculpture group Beyaert Ros and Four Aymon.
Given the size and weight was left on the spot where it stood in 1913.
Despite the fact that the park is located between two busy roads - the Kortrijksesteenweg and Krijgslaan - it is still a quiet environment.
In summer the lawn is still used as a place to relax and rest.
