In Sharon, within the Massachusetts Audubon Wildlife Sanctuary, is a rocky ledge with a view that extends over southeastern Massachusetts and into Rhode Island.

The landscape is mostly slightly hilly terrain covered by trees. Human structures are found in many places. Prominent among these structures is Gillette Stadium - home of the New England Patriots football team and the New England Revolution Soccer team. There is also a water tank near it. Water tanks are seen in other places. To the south, if the weather conditions are good, you can see the taller buildings of Providence, Rhode Island.

The ledge is along the Bluff Trail which is part of the trail system within Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary. This sanctuary is part of the conservation properties of Massachusetts Audubon (Mass Audubon). The nature center is located at the junction of Moose Hill Street and Moose Hill Parkway, while the parking lot is off Moose Hill Parkway. The sanctuary is free to members of Mass. Audubon, and a modest fee (currently $4) for non-members. It is a bit hard to direct from here, so the best thing is to get a map and use it to follow the trails. The bluff is about a 20 minute walk from the nature center, on varied terrain that does not involve climbing. However, the trail is not for everyone.
