A sandstone column by Jan Brokof from 1706. It is surrounded by statues of st. Wenceslaus, st. Vojtech, st. Margareta and st. Hedwig, with smaller statues of the patron saints of the Benedictine order (i.e. st. Prokopius, st. Benedict, st. Scholastika, and blessed Vintír) in the alcoves. There are several Latin inscriptions on the piedestal, which describe the origins of the column and dedicate it to the Holy Virgin.
On top of the column, there is an unusual two-sided statue (actually two identical statues connected with a metal aureole) of Virgin Mary with Baby Jesus. It replaced the original, smaller staue by Brokof, which was then placed on the terrace of the Benedictine monastery, in 1728.
The column itself is a twelve-metre-high monolith.
