Originally placed on the village school to commemorate the coronation of King Edward VII in 1911, this clock was then moved in 1952 to the Chapel of Ease to commemorate the Coronation of his grand-daughter, Queen Elizabeth II.

The Chapel of the Good Shepherd (Chapel of Ease to Holy Trinity Church Charwelton) is at the junction of Church Street and Chapel Lane in this small village.

The clock bears the name W.H.Wade, Kineton. That's William Henry Wade who was born c.December 1871 in Kineton, Warwickshire. His father, Robert, was also a watch and clock maker and they lived in Southam Street. William died aged 71 in c.June 1943.

At the moment the clock is fixed at 12 noon, assumed not working.
